COMMUNITY ACTION OF NAPA VALLEY

COMMUNITY ACTION OF NAPA VALLEY

What They Do:

CANV believes no one should live in poverty. Every day they offer emergency assistance along with tools and skills to rebuild lives through: CANV's Food Bank network; homeless shelters; housing assistance; Meals on Wheels; culinary training, childcare and Stop Smoking programs.

For over 50 years CANV has improved the lives of our neighbors and increased self-sufficiency for Napa’s most vulnerable people. From Calistoga to American Canyon, Pope Valley to Carneros and everywhere in between, CANV feeds the hungry, houses the homeless and serves the elderly, reaching out to local people in need with dignity and respect.

Testimonial:

Community Action is a catalyst for change and a first line of defense against poverty in the Napa Valley. We have a significant impact in the lives of low-income households and move people from the cycle of poverty into self-sufficiency.
