Community Resources for Children

What They Do:

Empower families and childcare providers with quality early learning tools and resources to support the children under their care. Provide school readiness programs and developmental screenings for children ages 0-5. Strengthen child care providers with 1:1 coaching. Assist families in finding and paying for childcare that fits their needs.

For 40 years, Community Resources for Children has been advocating for and supporting young children in the Napa Valley through a variety of programs.

CRC’s Early Learning Center supports childrens’ growth and development by modeling educational activities for parents and caregivers to implement at home. We offer free developmental screenings and provide early learning toys, tools, and other materials on loan.

CRC envisions a future in which every young child has access to high-quality early education and care and therefore is prepared to reach his/her highest potential, succeed in life, and become a contributing member of society.

Other Ways to Help:

  • Volunteer to read to children at Story Time at the Farmers’ Market.
  • Become an Early Learning Center volunteer ambassador and help us in the Toy Library.
  • Attend, sponsor and donate to our fundraising events.
  • Sign up for our monthly newsletter.

We are our children's first teachers and sometimes we need some reassurance that we are doing a great job as well as needing assistance in how we can interact with and guide our kids.
