NAPA VALLEY MUSEUM

NAPA VALLEY MUSEUM

What They Do:

Provide unique experiences that enrich the cultural fabric of our community through exhibitions and educational programs. Inspire life-long learning by providing a place for both adults and children to explore the history, art, and environment of the Napa Valley.

The Museum places Napa Valley in a worldwide context by inspiring residents and visitors to learn about art, history, and the environment. Six-thousand people visit their rotating public exhibitions and associated programs each year, in addition to the 2,500 K-5 students annually served through the Museum-In-The-Classroom education program. A donation to the Museum supports artistic and historic exhibitions of the highest quality, education programs that address state standards in a meaningful way, and the preservation of over 2,500 artifacts relating to Napa County.

Testimonial:

Volunteering teaches me many skills that I will use as an adult. Leadership, helpfulness, teamwork and fun. I learn all of these skills at the Napa Valley Museum. I have fun doing projects and working in a team with other volunteers and staff.
